Contests/Scopes:
The scopes, projects, judging criteria and score sheets are created by Qualifying Technical Committees consisting of one representative from each qualifying area (college) and the OTSC contest Technical Committee Chair. Scopes are a summary of each contest that will specify the following information:
- date of contest
- purpose of contest
- skills and knowledge to be tested
- duration and timing of contest
- materials the competitor must supply
- materials that Skills Canada - Ontario will supply
- safety requirements
- technical committee members
- direction to any additional material the competitor should review
Scopes for the Qualifying Competitions will be posted by the end of January 2009. Please be aware that changes may occur in the scopes until one month prior to the competition.
