The Ontario Technological Skills Competition is Skills Canada – Ontario’s cornerstone event, attracting over 1,500 competitors and 20, 000 visitors from across the province. Over 50 contests in the skilled trades and technologies are offered at the competition to elementary, secondary and post-secondary level students, including apprentices. These contests allow participants to showcase their skills, talent and knowledge while providing them many networking opportunities with partners from industry, labour, government and education.

The general public is welcome to visit the Ontario Technological Skills Competition May 5 and 6, 2008, free of charge or purchase a ticket for the closing ceremonies, May 7, 2008. May 5 is Elementary Technology Activity Day with the Ontario Technological Skills competition taking place May 6. The following links will provide you with the basic information needed to visit, compete and support the OTSC. The most important document is the scope, please review it carefully and contact the appropriate person listed on the scope if your have any questions regarding the contest. After reviewing the scope the following links will provide you with the additional information you need to compete and succeed at the Ontario Technological Skills Competition.

For registration please ensure that you speak with you teacher/board contact/college rep or MTCU District contact to express your interest in competing. They will be responsible for the registration of a competitor.
