EXHIBITORS

This annual event is held in conjunction with the Ontario Technological Skills Competition (OTSC) and promotes careers in the skilled trades and technologies as viable, first-choice career options for young people.  Attending organizations are encouraged to engage students during their visit by providing them with the opportunity to actively participate in some aspect of their trades or technology-based display. Exhibitors can expect over 30,000 visitors, which includes Students in Grades 7 – 12, Educators, Government Representatives, Colleagues from Industry, Parents and the General Public.

Each year an award is presented for ‘Best Overall Booth’ based on the interactive components of the display and the type of information that the exhibit presents.

WHEN: Monday May 6th & Tuesday May 7th, 2013
SHOWTIMES: Monday May 6th - 9:00am-3:30pm
                     Tuesday May 7th - 9:00am-4:00pm
COST: $800 per 10’x10’ booth space for both show days (maximum 6 booths/organization)

EDUCATORS

Students can participate in over 65 interactive displays promoting careers in the skilled trades and technologies! Representatives are present from industry, government, colleges, associations and labour forces to deliver information regarding post-secondary training, including apprenticeships and many of the Ontario Colleges programs.  Technological skills signify job opportunities and the future of Ontario; this showcase provides the link between the skills and the potential job and allows students to explore opportunities in the skilled trades and technologies in a hands-on way.  Come and see for yourself!
