Conestoga College still has a few spots available for their tuition-free Pre-Apprenticeship General Machinist program starting in April 2013 at the Doon Campus

This program includes multiple trade exposure in:

  • General Machinist
  • Machine Tool Builder Integrator
  • Tool Maker
  • Tool and Die Maker

Precision Machining common core Level 1 apprenticeship training is also included.

The program runs full-time during the day for 30 weeks; the program also features an additional eight (8) week practical work placement experience. Those who successfully complete the program can go on to apprenticeship or further technical education.

Applications are open to those age 16 or older, and no longer a secondary school student. Completion of Grade 12 is preferred, but not mandatory because academic upgrading assistance will be provided. Call Kristen today!
