Feb 17 2017

Skills Ontario is thrilled to announce the 2017 Community Involvement Project – now offering three categories for secondary students! This project is an excellent opportunity for students to make their communities a more inclusive place for everyone.

We want to hear how your school is making a difference in your community!
Click on each category below for full details.

Manufacturing, sponsored by Miller
How can you improve your community through a manufacturing project? Your school could win a Miller Prize Pack!

Landscaping, sponsored by Permacon
How can you enhance your community through a landscaping project? You could win a truckload of paving stones from Permacon!

Construction, sponsored by Milwaukee

Skills Ontario Community Involvement Projects encourage young people to enhance their local communities, while developing important skills for their future. In 2016, Skills Ontario received submissions from bird shelter projects, to building YMCA camp cabins, to Habitat for Humanity partnerships, and beyond!

Be sure to send in project proposals by March 17 – we can’t wait to see what students plan this year!
