Canadian Society of Safety Engineering: 2015 OHSE Bursary Program

Sep 21 2015

The Canadian Society of Safety Engineering is pleased to announce that submissions are now being accepted for the 2015 OHSE Bursary Program.

The program will be offering bursaries up to a maximum of $500.00 in support of students who have successfully registered in a 1, 2 or 3 year OHSE program (full-time or part-time) at the undergraduate level at an accredited university or college in Canada.

As part of our ongoing objective to support people who have chosen to pursue a career in Occupational Health and Safety, we are pleased to award this bursary.

CSSE initiated the bursary program with the following aims:

  • To promote and further the education of Canadian college and university students attending programs in the field of Occupational Health and Safety;
  • To establish and encourage the highest standards among those preparing to enter the Occupational Health and Safety profession;
  • To provide an incentive for college and university students to commit themselves to their education as well as to their communities and families;
  • To broaden the attraction of the Occupational Health and Safety profession to a wide variety of students in various socio-economic circumstances.
