“Skills Work!® for Women”
Networking Dinners



For the eighth consecutive year, Skills Canada – Ontario is proud to offer the “Skills Work!® for Women” Networking Dinner Series across the province. These inspiring career exploration events foster a positive environment, in which young women in grades 9-12 have the opportunity to meet and network with tradeswoman from their community.

Over the course of the evening students will have a chance to learn about each mentors career journey and experiences. Students can also find out what they need to begin doing now to pursue their future career goals and aspirations.

It promises to be an inspiring night for all as students learn how to make connections and informed decisions about their future.

Please consider joining us. We invite you to attend as a:


Mentor: Women working, training or teaching in a skilled trade or technology field. You will share your positive experiences with students through informal networking activities.
Registration form available online: Submit online or print and fax.

Student: Female students in grade 9 – 12 who are interested in skilled trade and technology careers, or who are open to exploring their career options.
Registration form available online: Download form and print or fax
Registration fee $10.00.

Guest: A teacher, parent, educator, OYAP coordinator, dignitary, community partner or other interested party.
Registration form available online: Submit online or print and fax.
Registration fee $35.00
