Position Title: Ontario Technological Skills Competition - Set up/Tear Down Crew

Organization Name: Skills Canada-Ontario

Position Description:

Over 50 skilled trade and technology contests are offered to 1,500 competitors at the elementary,
secondary and post-secondary level. We are in need of a set up and tear down crew to help with
organizing, moving materials and resources, and preparing and maintaining equipment. If you are
interested in lending a helpinghand, or if you are involved in the skilled trades - we'd love to see you!

Duties can include the following activities:

  • tour and/or workshop registration
  • lumber distribution
  • tool set up
  • table and chair set-up
  • power/extension cord set-up
  • driving forklifts
  • clean, set up and test equipment (can range from cleaning mirrors, testing scales etc)
  • information desk
  • signage set up

Please indicate whether you are capable of light or heavy duties.

Training Details:

Training and orientation will be provided on the day of.
Licenced Forklift drivers are also needed daily - please apply!
