Ontario, August 25, 2014 - Every year, the Skills Ontario Board of Directors awards a maximum of two scholarships to Ontario students who show great potential in the skilled trades and technologies at the Ontario Technological Skills Competition (OTSC). In an unprecedented move, the Skills Ontario Board of Directors has awarded scholarships to eight outstanding students for 2014.
This morning Gail Smith, Executive Director of Skills Ontario, and David Tsubouchi, Registrar and CEO of the Ontario College of Trades, were nominated for the #ALSIceBucketChallenge. This one's a good one, catch the video here.

Skills Ontario, a not-for-profit organization which promotes the skilled trades and technologies, held The Skills Work! Camp, a week-long day program for kids entering grades 8 and 9, at the Whitby campus in August.
