Female students encouraged to enter skilled trades

NEW TECUMSETH — Only 4% of skilled tradespeople in Ontario are women.

That's a statistic that the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) and Skills Canada Ontario are hoping to change by attracting more young women to jobs into the trades.
